We see several potential clients when we talk to them say they are being charged “1.59%” for cards only to show them that only 2% of their transactions are getting billed at 1.59% but over 90% are being billed at a 3.50% that is buried in the statement and the sales person never told them about. Or worse, they bought a $300 terminal on al lease that is costing them over $4,000—but they got a really low rate.

To start, simply fax one of your statements to 832-201-7053 and write on the top your phone number or email address. Within the day, we will respond to you with our analysis and comparison for your review.

You owe it to your business to do the comparison.

The comparison will be over one years processing. All fees will be included; including hardware fee, annual fees, account set-up, statement, and termination fees. The merchant must provide a complete schedule of fees from a verifiable competitor. Those fees will be on the merchant statement and or the merchant’s checking account. We may request two months statements along with the original contract or agreement. If some fees are not stated clearly, we may ask that the merchant provide the information needed. The guarantee will be honored if all requested information is received. The merchant has 5 business days to complete an application and must be approved by the processor. If they cannot be approved, Gateway will make an effort to place the business with another process but this will void the guarantee. Only one guarantee offer per merchant.
