Accepting checks is almost a requirement in this day and age. There are three methods to take a check.
- Verification of the check- just checks that the check is not on any negative data base.
- Guarantee the check – You get paid if the check is returned.
- Truncate the check and send as an ach – no verification or guarantee – you know your customer is good.
